“Intense Clashes Between AA and ARSA in Northern Maungdaw, Raising Concerns for Civilian Safety”

In northern Maungdaw, the Arakan Army (AA) has established a stronghold in the vicinity of a village near a fire incident. The location, seized by AA, was recently attacked by the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA). The fierce fighting that broke out between both forces has been intense, with heavy exchanges of gunfire, resulting in significant clashes over the past days.
The conflict began on February 14, 2025, and continued until February 18, 2025. Reports indicate that both sides have suffered casualties as they engaged in continuous skirmishes in the area. Furthermore, it has been reported that similar clashes between ARSA and AA are ongoing in the Buthidaung region, signaling an escalation in the conflict.
The situation remains tense in the region, with no clear resolution in sight as both factions continue to fight for control. The involvement of both groups raises concerns about the safety and wellbeing of civilians caught in the crossfire.

မောင်တောမြောက်ပိုင်းရှိ မီးတိုက်ကျေးရွာအနီးမှာ ရခိုင်လက်နက်ကိုင် AA အဖွဲ့က စခန်းချခြေကုပ်ယူထားလျက်ရှိတဲ့ နေရာကို အာရကာန် ရိုဟင်ဂျာ ကယ်တင်ရေး တပ်မတော် (ARSA) တပ်ဖွဲ့မှ ဝင်ရောက်စီးနင်းတိုက်ခိုက်ရှင်းလင်းရာမှာ နှစ်ဖက်အပြန်အလှန် ပစ်ခတ်မှုတွေ ပြင်းထန်စွာ ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရပါတယ်။
အဆိုပါ နေရာမှာ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ ၁၄ ရက်နေ့ကနေ စတင်ပြီး ယမန်နေ့ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ ၁၈ ရက်နေ့အထိ တိုက်ပွဲပြင်းထန်စွာ ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရပါတယ်။ နှစ်ဖက်တိုင်းသို့ပြန်လှန်ပစ်ခတ်မှုများကြောင့် လူမှုရေးအခြေအနေတွေ စိုးရိမ်ဖွယ်ဖြစ်လာပြီး သေဆုံးမှုများလည်း ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့ကြောင်း သတင်းများရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။
